In terms of 'are Z Grills as good as Traeger?', with regards to build quality, they are comparable in some instances, especially as the manufacturer of Z Grill pellet grills was at one point the manufacturer of Traeger products, but I'm not sure if that's still the case.

What I will say is when it comes to their pellet grills/smokers with WiFi capability and especially the software/App side of things Traeger still has the edge over Z Grills. While there are a growing number of Z Grills pellet grills with WiFi, the App just doesn't have the same functionality and ease of use.

Then again, as stated, the Z Grills pellet grills/smokers are notably cheaper, with similar features when it comes to temperature range, hopper capacity etc.
