The differences between those two Pit Boss ranges are mainly cosmetic. As of this moment, most of the Pit Boss Sportsman and Navigator pellet grills and smokers are fitted with previous-generation time-based temperature controllers.
None have the latest PID controllers from Pit Boss. However, a few models have been updated with WiFi connectivity to take advantage of the Pit Boss SmokeIT App.
