Most Z Grill pellet grills up to this moment don't have a pellet dump chute on the pellet hopper. Therefore, to get pellets out of the pellet hopper, you'll have to do it the old-fashioned way.

First, make sure the pellet grill is turned off and isolated from power for safety reasons. Then with a screwdriver, you're going to need to remove the protective mesh screen on top of the hopper directly under the lid.

Then get a small cup and get into the hopper to scoop out the pellets into a bucket/bag. If you then want to completely empty the pellet hopper, you'll have to turn on the pellet grill and use the 'Prime' button to force the auger to feed the pellets into the burn pot.

You can then empty the burn pot of those pellets which will have completely emptied the hopper along with the auger tube.
