As of this moment the Traeger Timberline 1300 is still available for sale. While the Traeger Timberline XL is technically its direct replacement, there is a significant jump in price between these two models.

With the reduced pricing of the Timberline 1300, the Timberline XL is literally double the price!

While I do think the Timberline XL is an improved design, I don't think its worth double the price, but there we go.

Now, how long will Traeger continue to sell the older Timberline models for I'm not sure. They're still selling first-generation Pro Series models, while the second-generation models have been on the market for nearly 5 years.
