However, Z Grills has not just updated these models with WiFi connectivity they have also made changes to their PID temperature algorithms. These models now have 5-degree temperature adjustment, which matches the capabilities of models such as the Traeger Pro 575 at a higher price point.
So, at this point, you’re probably wondering how these latest WiFi Z Grills pellet grills compare against the competition. Well, that’s a big question, and its one you can answer yourself with the help of our database.
What I will say is that with these additional features of WiFi connectivity and a PID controller that now provides 5-degree temperature adjustment, these Z Grills models are making themselves much more competitive options against similarly priced models from brands such as Pit Boss etc.
However, while these improvements are good to see, its disappointing that Z Grills has not improved their maximum temperature setting above 450 degrees. Especially since these models don’t have direct-flame access to compensate for their relatively low maximum temperature setting.
