Step 1: There is nothing complicated about this Cheeseburger Slider recipe. After all, its about simplicity and speed to prepare. The ingredients are simple. Some slider Brioche buns, some cheese slices, an onion, and of course, the beef…
Step 2: Where this recipe is a little special is the choice of meat, its not using any beef, its a pound of ground Wagyu beef which ups the flavor over even good quality 80/20 beef.
Step 3: When it comes to the brioche slider buns, ideally you want to try and find some that are still all connected together so these Cheeseburger sliders are as fast to make as possible.
Step 4: In terms of the onion, you’ll just want to peel it and roughly dice it, very quick and easy.
Step 5: For the burger meat, split the one pound of ground beef into two, and then place some baking paper in the base of a container roughly the same size as the dimensions of the brioche burns. Then, squash the ground beef evenly over the surface of the baking paper.
Step 6: Then you’ll want to give the ground beef a light seasoning. In this case, Pit Boss Chophouse Steak Rub was used, which includes ingredients such as Salt, Garlic, and Paprika, among other spices.
Step 7: Then, with a griddle set to low heat, rub some butter all over the surface where the buns will be placed.
Step 8: Try and keep the buns together if you can, then let them lightly toast in the butter before removing them from the griddle.
Step 9: Next, with your griddle set to medium heat, gently flip the burger meat out of the containers, and on the griddle surface; the baking paper should have stopped the burger meat from sticking to the container.
Step 10: Gently peal back the baking paper and let the burger meat cook for three for four minutes.
Step 11: While the underside of the burger meat is cooking, get your seasoning again and apply some over the top, as this side didn’t get any seasoning before.
Step 12: After three to four minutes on the griddle at medium heat its time to flip them with your spatulas. Be careful, though; they are thin and could break apart.
Step 13: As the underside continues to cook through, get some cheese slices on the top to melt.
Step 14: This recipe then applies the diced onion on top of the cheese.
Step 15: Finally, some pickles are added. With the onion and pickles, obviously, add them at your own preference.
Step 16: Before you place the burger meat on top, give the brioche buns a light layer of mayo.
Step 17: Then, after cooking for three to four minutes, using your spatulas, and get that lovely Wagyu burger meat on those butter-toasted brioche buns.
Step 18: For this recipe, as a little finishing touch, a dressing of Aioli sauce was applied, which is a mixture of Garlic and Olive Oil.
Step 19: Then its simply a case of flipping the tops on the sliders and cutting up to serve.
Step 20: Just because a recipe is quick and simple doesn’t mean its not going to be delicious, and I can’t wait to prepare these for my friends and family.
