Yes, all Bear Mountain BBQ pellets are made from 100% Hardwood residues. The thing that binds the pellets together is the lignin within the wood. As the BBQ pellets are made in the pellet mill, the sawdust gets very hot, and the lignin melts into a glue to hold the pellets together when cool.

Now, I should note, that currently all Bear Mountain BBQ pellet flavors are blended pellets. In other words, the Apple pellets are not made from 100% Applewood, they are made from a blend of Oak pellets with a percentage of Applewood pellets in there.
